Its name and organization structure will be announced during the event. In the meanwhile chapter board welcomes you to immerse in practical aspects of Project & Program Management in construction & infrastructure industry.

 

To celebrate the launch of this forum, PMI NIC Board is bringing to you series of two power-packed sessions on consecutive Sundays starting June 27, 2021 with very senior speaker from all corners of the country – Gujarat, Hyderabad, Uttarakhand & Rajasthan. -  Feel free to share details of this event and registration link with your colleagues / friends in PM profession. Let’s jointly make this a global forum. 

Audience

First part of the event on EPC Project Management of our webinar series is intended for professionals from infrastructure / construction industry who are engaged in developing / constructing large infrastructure assets across different industries and are engaged in outsourcing / managing those projects through EPC – Engineering. Procurement and Construction method of delivery. In EPC way of delivery, a big company / developer picks up a large scale and complex project, divided into blocks of independent and inter-dependent smaller manageable sub-projects (who in themselves might be each worth 100’s of crores worth of project) and allocates them to contractors. Contractor is then obliged to deliver a complete facility to the developer / Owner in a seamless handover post completion.

Second part of the event on Primavera is just an overview session of Primavera – a product which is comparable with MS Project but is very broadly used in infrastructure industry and especially for large infrastructure projects. Its resources are generally bit difficult to locate in market and due to its more usage in big projects retaining those resources is also a big challenge. In case there is demand for trainings from member community, chapter can look at organizing formal Primavera trainings also for member community.

Vinod Garg

Vinod Garg, the founder of PROMAC- basically a civil engineer, is passionate about project management and is a unique combination of Project Management Consultant and Trainer.

He has done BE Civil in 1988 from MNIT Jaipur, M Tech from IIT Mumbai in 1990, MBA in Project Management in 2011. He is a certified Project Management professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute of America. He is also a certified Project Management- Scheduling Professional from PMI- USA.

After working in a PMC company from 1990-93 in Mumbai he moved to Jaipur and started his own Construction Project Management consultancy in the name of PROMAC . He is actively involved in the Project Management of construction of Five Star Hotels like HILTON and Country Inn , Institutions Like IIM Lucknow and Career Point, Residential and Commercial complexes, Townships, Industrial Units and Villas . It has grown from a single person to a large organization of Ninety well qualified and experienced staff both in the office and in the field.

He has trained about 1000 students and professionals for qualifying for PMI credentials, Project Management Software - PRIMAVERA and MS Project both and has delivered a number of lectures on project management in various forums like PMI North India Chapter, Mahima Group, MES Jaipur, Engineering Staff Training Institute , Jaipur, Rajasthan Housing Board, MNIT, JNIT, Kautilya Engineering College, Institute of valuers etc
