This year’s theme - “Shaping Viksit Bharat Through Inclusive Project Leadership” - will bring together senior project leaders, policymakers, and infrastructure experts to explore how inclusive leadership is accelerating national development priorities, particularly across large and complex government and industrial transformation programs aligned with the Make in India vision.
Coinciding with the spirit of International Women’s Day, the forum will highlight leadership perspectives from both women and men driving high-impact public and infrastructure initiatives.

Shalu Manan is a seasoned transformation leader with over 20 years of experience, she is passionate about harnessing the power of people, process, and technology to drive meaningful business results. She has led large-scale enterprise transformations across HR, R&D, consulting, and operations, building performance and capability frameworks while guiding global teams through complex change journeys.
A practitioner of design thinking, lean, and Six Sigma, she has helped organizations reimagine processes across finance, procurement, supply chain, and HR creating innovative, human-centred experiences. Currently, she is reimagining the talent supply chain to align employee aspirations with customer success, accelerating growth while transforming the employee experience at scale.
Smita Mishra, PMP®, PMI-RMP®, PMI-CP™, is a Senior Project Leader with over 22 years of experience delivering complex engineering and construction projects across large-scale built environments.
Her expertise lies in risk management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and process-driven execution across Power, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, and Industrial sectors. Known for driving structured governance frameworks in high-value projects, she advocates disciplined execution supported by proactive risk intelligence and cross-functional collaboration.
A PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP) Instructor and committed mentor, Smita has guided and developed hundreds of project professionals, strengthening capability within the construction ecosystem. She has also contributed to the advancement of global standards as a reviewer for the PMBOK® Guide – 8th Edition and the first edition of the PMI-RMP® Practice Guide.
Dr. Vanita Ahuja is an Architect and Construction Project Management expert with +30 years of industry and academic experience. She has led academic programs and Institutions. She has been the founding Director of National Institute of Design, Haryana and Director RICS School of Built Environment – Noida and Group Academic Head (Design and Built Environment), Amity Education Group. In these roles she endeavored to promote multi-disciplinary education aligned with industry requirements and trans – disciplinary research and practice for achieving National and Global vision of inclusive and sustainable society. She has been contributing in policy making through her work with Bureau of Indian Standards and Quality Council of India. Her Industry outreach activities include working with Project Management Institute (PMI – USA) at global level and she also received ‘Eric Jennet Project Management Excellence Award 2020’. Education for all is her passion and she volunteers for Godhuli an NGO committed to provide education to street and slum children.
She has worked on projects of varying nature like residential and school projects, commercial projects and has also provided consultancy for infrastructure projects like Delhi Metro project. She is passionate about research, her papers have been published in International Journals and she has presented papers in International Conferences. She has co-authored a book, contributed chapters in books published by International publishers and has been on the editorial board of prestigious journals like Emerald journals. In policy making area she is part of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Sectional Committee and working groups drafting codes for ‘Construction Project Management’. She is also actively volunteers for Project Management Institute (PMI-USA) at national and global level and was awarded global level prestigious award ‘Eric Jennet Project Management Excellence Award 2020’. Education for all in the society is a subject close to her heart and she is associated with NGO Godhuli providing education to street/ slum children.
